The Inspire Education and Research Academy is dedicated to enhancing the development of Nepali communities through a comprehensive array of projects. Our initiatives focus on children, youth, and women, recognizing that empowering these groups is crucial for facilitating positive change in Nepal. To reach this goal, we place volunteers in monasteries ,schools, women / child /differently abled /aged care centers, yoga/meditation centers, hospitals and Y's Center.
As a volunteer or intern, you will receive an introduction that includes Nepali lessons, and sightseeing and we take you to your host family and workplace.

Following this, we can engage in a discussion regarding your skills and, together with your length of stay, determine the most appropriate placement for you. It is feasible to participate in multiple placements, such as spending few days/weeks at a aged care center in Kathmandu or Pokhara or Lumbini followed by few days/weeks at a school in a rural region. Our volunteering opportunities are open to individuals of all ages, ranging from high school students to retirees.

Alternative Tourism promotes fair and just forms of travelling activities between members of different communities to achieve mutual understanding, solidarity and equality amongst the participants.
